    DALYVIO STARTINIS MOKESTIS:

    – 20 € – iš anksto registruojantis dviems žygio dienoms (dalyvavimas nuo 16 metų, jaunesni tik su tėvais, globėjais, grupių vadovais.
    – 15 € iš anksto registruojantis vienai žygio dienai (dalyvavimas nuo 16 metų, jaunesni tik su tėvais, globėjais, grupių vadovais);
    – 10 € iš anksto registruotiems vaikams iki 12 metų dviems žygio dienoms (tik su tėvais, globėjais, grupių vadovais);
    – +2 € – papildomas vėlyvos registracijos starto mokestis visoms registracijoms gautoms po 2018 m. rugpjūčio 1 d. arba žygio dienomis.
    Visi žygio dalyviai gaus žygio Diplomus, Medalius (pagal žygio apdovanojimo sistemą), pietūs ir užkandžiai žygio dienomis, trasų žemėlapiai, kontrolinės kortelės.

    REIKALAVIMAI ŽYGIO DALYVIAMS:

    – Laikytis nustatytų žygio taisyklių;
    – Eidami keliais, laikytis kelių eismo taisyklių, pėsčiųjų pareigos;
    – Atsakingai elgtis su ugnimi;
    – Saugoti savo asmeninius daiktus, sveikatą;
    – Informuoti grupės vadovą arba žygio organizacinį komitetą apie savo pasitraukimą iš žygio;
    – Žygio dalyvis susižeidęs arba sutrikus sveikatai privalo kreiptis į medikus;
    – Pageidautina, kad kariai dėvėtų tvarkingą karinę uniformą, atitinkančią uniformos dėvėjimo taisykles. Civiliams dėvėti tvarkingą laisvalaikio aprangą.
    – Žygio metu dalyviams gali būti nurodyti ir kiti žygio organizatorių reikalavimai, kuriais žygio dalyviai privalės vadovautis žygio metu.

    1. Žygio dalyviai privalo susipažinti su žygio taisyklėmis ir jomis vadovautis registracijos ir žygio metu;

    Track and weather conditions
    Description of the tracks (road, landscape)
    On Friday we offer an afternoon walk of 6/11 km, which brings you into the city centre.
    On Saturday, the first day of the IML Walking Association walk, there is 25 an 42 km route. The 25 km leads you south to Bronnzell, then to Eichenzell and the Fasanerie Palace. The extra loop for the 42 km brings you to the Rhoen Mountains and has some nice up and down in it. Since 2002 we offer a ‘special version’ of the 42 km route on Saturday: There is a bus transfer to the Rhoen Mountains and the walk starts from out there back to Fulda. In 2002 we had the first try, starting from the Wasserkuppe, the highest mountain in the area, and the walkers highly recommended this route. In the last years we started from some other places in the mountains.
    On Sunday, the second day, there is also a 25 and 42 km which brings you mostly to the region northwest of Fulda. Part of the route is in the open and a big part, especially on the 42 km, is in the woods. There is some up and down but nothing serious. On the way back you will walk through the city centre of Fulda where you have the opportunity for some sightseeing.
    Beside the walks there are different possibilities to spend your time here in Fulda: You can visit the city palace, the palace gardens, the Baroque Cathedral, the Fire Brigade Museum etc. You can also rent a bike or if you are into water sports you can rent a Kayak and go canoeing on the Fulda river.

    You never know what kind of weather you will have in Germany this part of the year. We had some years with very good weather but also quite a few rainy days.
    Souvenir – award
    The medal for our walk remembers the Fulda Taler, an ancient coin that was used in the city of Fulda. Military groups can earn a special award, a little helmet that can be attached to the medal.
    Transport
    by flight: The best option is Frankfurt Airport.
    by train: Fulda is an intercity stop. There is a connection to Frankfurt almost every hour (Frankfurt – Fulda takes about 60 min) and Fulda is also on the main track going to Hannover/Hamburg (north) and Wuerzburg/Munich (south).
    by car: Fulda is on the main north-south highway A7, you can use the exits
    91 Fulda-Nord (from the north) or 55/93 Dreieck Fulda (from the south)

    Description of the tracks (road, landscape)
    The march „Jede Kudrna okolo Brna“ (Kudrna Goes Around Brno) is on the annual calendar of events of the IML Walking Association, IVV and KCT (Czech Tourists Club). It takes place in beautiful surroundings of Brno dam, the Fairytale of May and the Moravian Karst.

    Description of the tracks (road, landscape)
    The Beijing International Mountain Walking Festival is to take place in a ntational famous tourism town – Zhaitang Town. With beautiful natural scenery and rich cultural landscape, the different routes present different features of the town. On the way there are Cuandixia Village – a well-known Chinese village with profound historic culture, Huangcaoliang natural scenic spot, Zhaitang reservoir and etc. The surface of the road is of asphalt, cement concrete or debris.
    Good care
    All routes are facilitated with check points, supply depots, receiving stations, first-aid stations and toilets. Drinking stations are equipped about every 5 km. Organizing Committee have set medical stations and mobile medical care stations with landmark. Along the routes, volunteers will assist the medical care and keep the event in order.
    Organizing Committee will cover Personal Accident Insurance and Additional Risk of Injury Insurance for all registered participants ans staff. Please refer to the Insurance Direction on the official website. The report book will be available on the official website: www.bjwalking.com, 15 days after the event.
    Weather
    The weather of Beijing in September is cool and pleasant, and the average temperature of the day is 26-30℃, and 16-20℃ at night.

    Description of the tracks (road, landscape)
    The walk takes place along the paths that connect the coast directly to the Appenine slopes of the Beigua Regional Park, the largest protected area in Liguria. The landscape is full of emotions. Due to the close proximity of the Appenine watershed to the coastline, the mountains of more than thousands metres in height seem to hang over the sea and present participants with breathtaking views.
    For those who prefer the sea to the mountains, two new flat routes – difference lenght – along the coast has been marked out. The „Riviera del Beigua“ routes are a further choice in addition to the three mountain tracks.

    Free refreshments are available along the routes and at the arrival point.
    Showers and toilets are available at ‘Bagni Nuovo Lido’ and ‘Diurno’.

    Description of the tracks (road, landscape) The SAGAMARSJEN, organized by the Idrettskrets, is a two days march. The first day in the mountain-area, the border Sweden-Norway. The second day in the area around Stiklestad, nearby the sea. Stiklestad and Verdal is about 90 km north of Trondheim.
    Both days of this march are intended to follow the last day’s march of King Olav the Saint and his Army, from Medstugan Sweden to Stiklestad Norway in the year 1030. His enemies came from all over the country, but their chieftains were the mighty lords of Trøndelag and the Northern Norway. King Olav was killed at Stiklestad and lost the battle. But a number of miracles occuring before and after the Kings death, turned the defeat into a glorious victory. He became the Holy King to many people throughout Northern Europe.
    Good care along the road At every starting place and finish line, and throughout the entire course, you can buy dry food, hotdogs and lemonade.
    Stiklestad Hotell offers breakfast at 70,- NOK. Warm food is available at the finish line.
    Verdal Red Cross have the responsibility for the medical service.

    Vaasan Description of the tracks (road, landscape)
    Björköby archipelago walk is fairly difficult terrain and about 20 kilometres long. Björkö is named as the Unesco Nature World Heritage area. At the end of the day an archipelago meal consisting of local specialities will be served. The trip lasts for about 8 hours. On this walk you have an exceptional possibility to enjoy the virgin and wild nature of the coastal area and see concrete the phenomena of the world’s most specific land uplift. During the days of Vaasan Marssi you can enjoy the ripe berries along the routes or taste some genuine böckling (smoked small Baltic herring). The sea wind will keep you fresh all day long. The track is flat and it circles in the deep forests, new residential areas, inside lakes and – of course – the seaside from several points of views. On the route of Friday there are one or two special „mountains“ to climb up.
    Good care along the road
    Along the routes there are service points at intervals of about 5 kilometres, where you can get water, refreshments and small things to eat for free. At the service point you can also buy coffee and pancakes.
    Weather
    This time of the summer the weather is warm – sometimes around 25 degrees.

    Vaasan Marssi starts usually with the Night of Arts as an opening festival on Thursday.
    Swimmingpossibilities at the finish area, by an island close to the city.
    Closing ceremonies take place in Strampen at 3 p.m. on Sunday.

    Souvenir – award

    The event Vaasan Marssi has its own unique series of different medals. The motive of the medals has to do with the Finnish west coast and the local geological phenomenon called land uplift. New pins and patches are for sale.
    All participants are also entitled to the Vaasan Marssi diploma.

    The routes, 30, 40 or 50 km (daily) lead through the beautiful environment of Nijmegen and surrounding communities.
    At our website you will find information about the routes .
    The first day , ‘the Day of Elst’, goes through the Overbetuwe. The second day is by many participants experienced as heavy and dull. It’s called ‘ the Day of Wijchen’. Participants also walk through Beuningen & Weurt.
    The third day is famous for the Zeven heuvelenweg („Road of the seven hills“) and is described by many participants as the most beautiful day of the Marches.
    In Groesbeek, the central city of the day, the Zevenheuvelenweg starts and goes in the direction of the town Berg en Dal.
    The last day of the Four Days Marches is famous for his Via Gladiola. In Malden all participants prepare for the final of the Four Days Marches, the glorious entry in Nijmegen via St. Annastraat, renamed for this occasion as „Via Gladiola“.

    The Castlebar International Four Days’ Walks invite you to their Annual Walking Festival, to walk and talk and to discover and share the bogs, rivers, mountains and unspoilt beauty of the West of Ireland.

    Road Walks
    On each day there is a 10km and 20km road walk. Although these routes are on Castlebar’s “boreens” or country roads we have to be mindful of road safety. High visibility vests are given to each walker at the starting point and these vests must be worn until the walker returns. Route maps are provided for each road walker. Different coloured arrows are painted along the routes to guide the walkers. There are control points and drinks provided along the routes.

    Rambles
    On each day there is a Ramble of approx. 5 hours. These Rambles, which include walking across bog and heather moorland, are a unique feature of our festival and offer the walker a special opportunity to experience the landscape and wonderful views of Co. Mayo. On a clear day you can see forever! The combination of spectacular scenery and remote wilderness together with the variety of terrain make the Rambles a walker’s dream. These are the most popular of all the walks at Castlebar and are led by guides with a rich knowledge of the local landscape. Three of the Rambles take place outside Castlebar therefore walkers are required to reserve a seat on the bus at the registration desk on Wednesday. There is no charge for the bus transportation.

    Good care:
    As the Rambles are in remote areas, walkers are requested to ensure that they bring adequate snacks and drinks with them.
    Weather:
    Ireland has a maritime climate so walkers may encounter some inclement weather and the bog can be wet underfoot. The Rambles include some moderate climbing (under 400m) so, for your own enjoyment, please ensure that you are fit and that you have suitable equipment – waterproofs, walking boots, spare socks, and walking poles.
    Entertainment
    On Wednesday at 20.00 hrs everything starts with an informal get-together where walkers can register and there is a short but important briefing.
    On Thursday at 21.00 hrs there will be a Traditional Irish Night held in the Fáilte Suite of the Welcome Inn Hotel with Irish dancers from the famous Cresham School of Dancing and traditional Irish music provided by “The Rolling Waves”, a group of young musicians from Castlebar, directed by John Kilkenny.
    On Sunday evening at 19.30 hrs there is a Walkers’ Farewell Buffet Dinner. Tickets are available from reception at the Welcome Inn Hotel. This dinner is followed by the “Blister Ball” at 21.00 hrs.

    Souvenir – award
    First-time walkers at Castlebar receive a bronze medal; after five years you receive a silver medal; then after ten years a gold medal. Sanctioned by IML and IVV.
    Transport

    Ireland West Airport Knock is located approximately 47kms from Castlebar with flights from Great Britain, Spain, Germany, Portugal, Italy and France – details of all these flight schedules are available on the airport website (www.irelandwestairport.com). Should you choose to use Ireland West Airport Knock we can arrange airport transfers for you. Just let us know!
    Dublin Airport is Ireland’s largest with flights from almost everywhere! On arrival in Dublin you can travel the 245km west to Castlebar by air with Aer Arann to Ireland West Airport Knock or take the Airlink bus service to either Heuston Station for an onward train journey to Castlebar or to Busáras if you choose to travel by bus.

    Shannon Airport is located 162km south of Castlebar. There are no train links from Shannon Airport and transport to Castlebar is via a limited bus to Galway City and then onward to Castlebar.
